The Mahoney Event Center is not just a venue; it’s a living tribute to the extraordinary life of the late Margaret M. Lowe. Margaret, a long-time resident of this community, attended Ambler High School and was a vibrant part of the local fabric for many years.
Throughout her life, Margaret embraced various roles, from skilled seamstress to knowledgeable librarian. Yet, above all, her heart belonged to her family. She cherished her roles as homemaker, devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. She poured her energy and love into creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family.
Beyond her family, Margaret found joy in bringing people together. She was a natural hostess, renowned for her warm hospitality and the magical atmosphere she created at every gathering. From joyous Christmas parties brimming with festive cheer, to relaxed Easter dinners, and lively family cookouts, Margaret had a knack for making every occasion special and memorable.
The Mahoney Event Center carries on Margaret's legacy of warmth, inclusivity, and the spirit of celebration. We strive to create a space where you can share your own special moments with loved ones, a place where joy, laughter, and connection are at the heart of every event.
