Our kitchen is set up to make your event seamless, offering all the essentials for food storage and efficient reheating. Whether you’re bringing in catering or prepping on-site, everything you need is ready and waiting—just keep in mind that our facilities are designed for reheating prepared foods, not full-scale cooking.

 

  • Spacious Refrigeration – Keep ingredients and platters fresh and cool until you’re ready to serve.

  • Compact Upright Freezer – Store frozen items and desserts with ease.

  • Ice Machine – Plenty of ice available for food service or drinks.

  • 12-Tray Food Warmer – Ensure dishes stay hot and ready to serve throughout your event.

  • Three (3) Prep Tables – Ample space for prepping, plating, and staging food.

  • Oven – Perfect for warming up entrees and baked goods.

  • Grill Top – Available for use with prior arrangement and required documentation (see Important Details).

  • Two (2) 60-Gallon Fryers – Available for use with prior arrangement and required documentation (see Important Details).

 

Important Details:

 

  • Our kitchen is intended for reheating and holding prepared foods, not for full cooking or food preparation from scratch.

  • Use of the grill top and deep fryers requires:

    • Advance approval from venue management

    • Proof of a valid ServSafe Certificate

    • Proof of insurance

    • A complete menu detailing all items to be prepared on-site

  • All kitchen activities must comply with venue policies and local health regulations.

Parking Amenities

 

While we don't have our own parking lot, convenient municipal parking is available just a short walk from the venue—making arrival easy for you and your guests.

The Living History

The Mahoney Event Center stands as more than just a gathering place—it is a testament to the enduring spirit of community, inspired by its namesake, Margaret Mahoney Lowe (1929–2016).

 

Named in honor of Margaret, who spent her life nurturing family, friends, and neighbors, the Mahoney Event Center was founded to carry forward her legacy of warmth and togetherness.
