Located in Ambler, Pennsylvania, Mahoney Event Center is a versatile and welcoming venue created for celebrations, gatherings, and memorable occasions of all kinds.

Venue Overview
Mahoney Event Center features approximately 2,800 square feet of flexible event space designed to accommodate a variety of private celebrations, social gatherings, business functions, and community events.
Our venue can accommodate events of up to 135 guests, depending on the event setup and room configuration.
The space can be arranged in a variety of layouts to accommodate dining, entertainment, presentations, dancing, socializing, and other event activities.
Included With Your Venue Rental
Your rental includes access to many of the features needed to create a comfortable and functional event environment, including:
- Tables & Chairs: A selection of round and rectangular tables, along with black and white chairs, is available for use at no additional rental cost.
- Bar Area: Our dedicated bar area provides a convenient location for beverage service during your event. Mahoney Event Center is a BYOB venue, subject to applicable venue policies and requirements.
- Catering Support Kitchen: A dedicated kitchen area is available to support caterers and food service during your event.
- DJ Booth & Entertainment Area: A designated DJ booth provides a centralized location for your DJ or entertainment provider.
- Audio/Visual Capabilities: The venue offers audio/visual capabilities that can support music, presentations, announcements, and other event needs.
- Flexible Floor Plan: Our open event space allows clients to customize the room configuration based on the size, style, and needs of their event.
- Convenient Parking: Municipal parking is conveniently located near the venue, providing accessible parking options for guests.

Important Information: Your reserved venue time must include all time needed for setup, decorating, your event, breakdown, and cleanup. Clients are responsible for arranging tables and chairs and returning venue furniture to its designated location at the conclusion of the reservation.
Inventory is subject to availability and may change. Specialty furniture, linens, colors, styles, or quantities exceeding Mahoney Event Center's available inventory must be obtained separately.
Kitchen & Bar Amenities
Our catering kitchen and bar are equipped to make food and beverage service run smoothly. Whether you’re bringing in a caterer, reheating prepared dishes, hosting a cocktail hour, or planning a casual celebration, you’ll have the essential equipment needed to serve your guests.

Our kitchen is designed for storing, reheating, plating, and holding prepared foods. Amenities include:

Use of the grill top or fryers requires:
- Advance approval from venue management
- Proof of a valid ServSafe certificate

While we don't have our own parking lot, convenient municipal parking is available just a short walk from the venue—making arrival easy for you and your guests.

Municipal Parking Rates & Free Parking Times
Posted municipal signage currently indicates a parking rate of $1.00 per hour, with free parking Monday–Friday from 12 PM–2 PM and 6 PM–8 AM, and all day Sunday.
Public Transportation
Mahoney Event Center is conveniently accessible by SEPTA. Ambler Station is approximately a 5-minute walk from the venue and is served by the Lansdale/Doylestown Regional Rail Line, providing convenient service to and from Center City Philadelphia and surrounding communities.
SEPTA Bus Routes 94 and 95 also serve the Ambler area and provide connections at or near Ambler Station, giving guests additional options for traveling to the venue from surrounding communities.
Guests using public transportation are encouraged to check current schedules, service changes, and connections before traveling.

As a venue rental facility, our team focuses on providing and overseeing the venue, while you remain in control of planning your event and selecting the vendors and professionals who are right for you.
We know finding the right team can be an important part of the planning process. To help you get started, we've put together a list of event professionals and businesses that have previously worked at Mahoney Event Center. These vendors have experience in our space and may already be familiar with our facility, policies, and event procedures.
While our Venue Team is always happy to assist with questions about the facility, we do not offer event planning and coordination services.

Standard Venue Rental
Our standard rental rates offer flexible options for birthdays, showers, celebrations, meetings, and other special events. Pricing is based on the day of the week and includes a minimum rental period, allowing you to reserve the venue for the amount of time your event requires.
When planning your rental, be sure to include enough time for setup before your event and cleanup afterward. We do not provide setup or breakdown services, so all setup, event activities, and cleanup must be completed within your reserved rental time. We recommend considering the full amount of time you’ll need when selecting your rental hours.

Planning a celebration on or around a holiday?
Special holiday rates may apply to venue rentals on select holidays, holiday weekends, and other high-demand dates throughout the year. This may include New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day Weekend, Father’s Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Day & Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.Holiday pricing varies based on the date, rental period, and event requirements.
Holiday rates are subject to availability and may not be combined with specialty packages, promotional rates, discounts, or other offers. Additional holidays and high-demand dates may be designated at management’s discretion. Management reserves the right to modify holiday pricing and determine which dates are subject to holiday rates.

During times of loss, planning a gathering should be as simple and stress-free as possible. Mahoney Event Center offers a comfortable and welcoming space for family and friends to gather, share memories, and honor the life of a loved one.
We understand that funeral, repast, and memorial arrangements often need to be made on short notice. For time-sensitive scheduling, please complete our online inquiry form first, then email Memorials@MahoneyEvent.com to let our team know your request requires expedited attention.

Planning an event, program, or production that requires the venue for more than one day? Our Multi-Day Venue Rental option provides added flexibility for events that need extended or consecutive access to Mahoney Event Center.

Our Story
The Living History
The Mahoney Event Center stands as more than just a gathering place—it is a testament to the enduring spirit of community, inspired by its namesake, Margaret Mahoney Lowe (1929–2016).
Named in honor of Margaret, who spent her life nurturing family, friends, and neighbors, the Mahoney Event Center was founded to carry forward her legacy of warmth and togetherness.
